Two men in murder of sub inspector surrender

 

ALOR SETAR: The two men wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a sub-inspector at a house in Changloon, Kedah, have surrendered themselves at the Jitra police station.

Kubang Pasu police chief Supt Mohd Ismail Ibrahim said Mohd Hatta Bohari, 30 and Mohd Najib Jidin, 36, were arrested when they surrender themselves at 4pm and 6pm respectively.

The two men were believed to be on the run after Insp Abu Hashim Ismail, 54, was shot dead in Taman Sri Hosba at around 10.25pm on Friday.

In a press conference on Saturday noon, Kedah police chief Comm Datuk Asri Yusoff said police had raided the two men's houses but they had fled.
