Najib, Rosmah attend wedding of Irwan Siregar's son

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor today attended the wedding reception of the son of Treasury secretary-general Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah.




Mohd Irwan and his wife, Puan Sri Rohana Sulaiman greeted the couple upon their arrival at 9pm.




The grand reception, held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) here, were also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa and Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.




Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam and other cabinet ministers were also among the VIP guests.




Local celebrity and songstress Datuk Siti Nurhaliza and her husband Datuk Seri Khalid Muhammad Jiwa also attended the reception.




Irwan's youngest son Dr Mohd Nazshua, 29, and Mazlin Muhammad Sudin, 29, solemnised their marriage at the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque here on July 7.




Dr Mohd Nazshua is a medical doctor at the Emergency and Trauma Department in Shah Alam Hospital while Mazlin is an architect based in Kuala Lumpur.




More than 1,000 guests attended the grand reception which began at 9pm.
