Primary school teacher gets 18 years, whipping for incest
PUTRAJAYA: A primary school teacher was ordered to serve 18 years in jail and be given 10 strokes of the cane for committing incest with a seven-year-old girl.
A three-man-bench of the Court of Appeal chaired by Justice Datuk Seri Zakaria Sam handed down the sentence after allowing the prosecution's appeal to set aside the acquittal of the 58-year-old man on a second charge of committing incest in 2011.
The girl, then seven years and five months old, was the man's step-daughter from one of his previous marriages. - Bernama
