PETALING JAYA: Yet another video of a foreigner being beaten up, allegedly for stealing cash belonging to his boss, has gone viral on social media.
The two-minute clip, which was posted on the "Friends of Barisan Nasional" Facebook page on Sunday, shows the foreigner being whipped and kicked repeatedly by a man, presumably his employer.
The victim is seen crouching on the floor and shielding himself as his employer whips him over and over, ignoring his repeated cries to stop.
The words exchanged between the duo are not very clear, but it appears that the victim is being accused of stealing cash belonging to his employer's company.
The employer is heard demanding in Malay where his money went, while the worker, who is visibly in pain and can be heard crying hysterically, tries to plead his innocence.
A minute and a half into the video, the employer is seen stepping on the victim with such great force that the latter recoils in pain, appearing to struggle for breath.
The employer then steps on him a second and third time, while he struggles to move.
"Bangun! Bangun! (Get up!)" the man is heard telling the worker towards the end of the video.
The clip had garnered 49,000 views and was shared more than a thousand times since it was uploaded at around noon Sunday.
"Cruel! A man begs his boss not to beat him, but is ignored. He was whipped for allegedly stealing company cash. Polis Diraja Malaysia, please investigate this case and take immediate action," Friends of Barisan Nasional said in the post, tagging the Malaysian police's official Facebook page.
Earlier this month, blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, better known as Papagomo, was seen on video assaulting a foreigner for allegedly harassing his sisters.
