PETALING JAYA: A worker was killed when a crane overturned at a construction site underneath a flyover close to the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP)-Penchala Link intersection here.
Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department chief operations officer Samsol Maarif Saibani said 15 firefighters were despatched to the scene 12 minutes after a distress call was received at around 4.50pm Tuesday.
He confirmed the one fatality and said that three other people were injured in the mishap.
Star Media Radio Traffic tweeted that the fallen crane was not obstructing any lanes and advised drivers not to slow down to look.
