Police confiscate 214 bottles of vape fluid, cannabis biscuits
KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman's Special Tactics and Intelligence Narcotics Group (STING) arrested seven individuals and confiscated 214 bottles of vape fluid as well as cannabis biscuits at two locations in Selangor on Monday night.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said this follows raids conducted by the group in Banting and Ampang.
In a statement issued here Tuesday, he congratulated the group on its success. -- Bernama
Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said both couples tested positive for ganja.
"They were arrested after Special Tactics and Intelligence Narcotics Group (STING) raided the syndicate operations in Banting, Ampang and Kelana Jaya.
"The youngest suspect arrested was a 26-year-old mechanical engineering student," he told a press conference on Wednesday.
He said the syndicate has been in operation since August and catered to their clientele via the Internet and sent their products via courier.
"We are on to those producing ganja vape or similar substances.
"There is no rock that they can hide under that we cannot find," he said.
It was reported that 214 bottles of vape liquid believed to be mixed with ganja were seized in the raids conducted on Monday.
