KUALA LUMPUR: A 46-year-old Indonesian woman is believed to have fallen from the 10th floor of a condominium on Jalan Air Madu near here.

Wangsa Maju district police chief Superintendent Mohamad Roy Suhaimi Sarif said the woman was seen entering the premise at about 7am.

"She told the security guard of the apartment that she was there to meet her friend.

"About 50 minutes later, the deceased, identified only as Misnayan was found at the staircase of the lower ground floor of the building," he said, adding that checks on the closed-circuit television camera revealed she fell at about 7.29am.

Investigation indicated the victim had fell from the tenth floor as her slippers and an umbrella were found there.

Roy said the body was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem scheduled at 8.30am tomorrow.

"Police are awaiting for the post-mortem result to see if foul-play was involved," he said.
