MUAR: Actor Khaeryll Benjamin Ibrahim, 37, better known as Benjy, and his friend, Raja Shariff Hidayatullah Raja Shariffudin, 27, were charged in the magistrate’s court here with trafficking methamphetamine amounting to more than 1.3kg.
No plea was recorded from the duo yesterday, who merely nodded to indicate that they understood the charge under Section 39B(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 in front of magistrate Mohd Syafiq Mustaza.
The duo were accused of trafficking meth at a roadblock in front of a petrol station along Jalan Pagoh-Muar at about 1.30am on March 27.
