Some of the ceiling tiles on the floor after the collapse at Masjid Jamek station
Prasarana media affairs manager Azhar Ghazali said several ceiling tiles at Platform 1 in the station fell at about 2.10pm.
He said the train services were running as normal during the incident and the cause of the incident was being investigated.
MyRapid bus services, however, stopped operations at the station until the site was cleared at 4.45pm.
