WWE to return to M'sia after 12 years

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will be the only exclusive country in South East Asia region to organise WWE Live after 12 years.
General Manager of Malaysia Major Events Tony Nagamaiah said WWE Live is expected to draw tourists from the South East Asia region during the two-day event.
"WWE has always been one of the favourite entertainment programmes in the region, thus it will encourage more tourists to come in and Malaysia is proud to host it," he told a press conference here, today.
Engaging with Malaysia Major Events and Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad, WWE Live will be held with expenditure close to RM33 million in conjuction of Visit Malaysia Year 2014.
Meanwhile, Asia Pacific WWE Vice President and General Manager Sweesin Wuu said 25 to 30 WWE Superstars and Divas including John Cena, Bray Wyat and Ricky Steamboat will entertain their fans in WWE Live at Putra Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 10 and 11 this year.
"We are excited to return to Malaysia after 2002 and this events reflect WWE's commitment to our growth in Malaysia," he said.
Wrestling fans can get their tickets from 31 May with the price range between RM128 and RM1,230.-- BERNAMA
