Nine performers were seriously injured when a platform fell Sunday afternoon during a circus show in Providence.
A high wire snapped during the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus' Legends show at the Dunkin Donuts Center, and there here are varrying reports on the total number injured.
Stephen Payne, a spokesman for Feld Entertainment, the parent company of Ringling Bros., said nine performers were seriously injured, including eight who were in the air.
