KUALA LUMPUR: Two nightclubs packed with revellers in Jalan Klang Lama, here, did not only conduct operation without licences, but were also found to use sexy foreign women to attract customers.
The illegal activities were revealed when a team of officers from the police Anti-Gambling, Vice and Secret Society Di vision (D7) raided the pub located side-by-side at a shopping complex last night.
City D7 chief Deputy Superintendent Baharin Mohd Rose said they arrested 37 foreign women, aged between 24 and 30, who worked as GROs at the clubs.
Police also nabbed two local men who served as the women's caretakers.
The women are being investigated for abusing their social visit passes, while the clubs' operators for employing foreigners without permit and operating entertainment outlet without valid licences.
