PAS polls: Salahuddin, Tuan Ibrahim and Husam elected veeps

SHAH ALAM: Salahuddin Ayub, Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man and Datuk Husam Musa were announced as the winners for the three vice president seats for the 2013-2015 term in PAS's elections after a recount at the party's
59th Muktamar (general assembly).
PAS's elections committee chairman Asmuni Awi said Salahuddin and Husam, who are the incumbents, polled 917 and 520 votes respectively.
Tuan Ibrahim, who is also Pahang PAS commissioner secured 849 votes, he told reporters here today.
The losers in that contest were incumbent Datuk Mahfuz Omar and Datuk Abu Bakar Chik, a member of the party's Central Working Committee.
Mahfuz and Abu Bakar polled 504 and 364 votes respectively.
