BOSNIAN'S GIRLFRIEND REFUTES SPERM ABUSE CLAIM

'Accusation completely baseless,' says Bosnian's ex-girlfriend

Bosnian national Ervin Ahbabovic.

KUALA LUMPUR: The woman accused of 'abusing' a Bosnian national's sperm so that she could bear a child with European genes said his claims are "completely baseless".
"This is certainly not true!", claimed the ex-girlfriend of Ervin Ahbabovic.
The 41-year-old Ahbabovic, who is also a Malaysian permanent resident, claimed to be a commercial director of a private limited company in Malaysia.
His 29-year-old ex-girlfriend however, claimed otherwise and said he was currently unemployed.
She told The Star Online that she had not been in touch with her him for over a year and that the lawsuit was unexpected.
"It is a totally baseless allegation and it's going to be struck out in court. I am a respectable person. I don't need to deal with this kind of gossip," she said.
Ahbabovic filed a RM600,000 civil suit for the "wrongful" use of his sperm as well as to be recognised as the father of their son in the birth certificate.
The suit was made known to the press on Tuesday.

Pic: FZ.comKUALA LUMPUR: He thought it was love but Bosnian Ervin Ahbabovic, 41, took his Malaysian ex-girlfriend to court, alleging she misused his sperm to produce a baby with Eastern European traits.
Ahbabovic, who has a Malaysian permanent resident status, is claiming more than half-a-million ringgit for the betrayal of his love and sincere intentions.

He said the case, filed last Friday, has been set for case management on Oct 1 at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.

He said he felt betrayed that his love and sincere intentions to marry his 29-year-old ex-girlfriend was misused to only produce a baby with the "unparalleled and astonishing" genes of an Eastern European.
The couple, who met and later cohabited in 2008, had a baby boy in 2010.
Ahbabovic, who has been in Malaysia since 1998 and serves as a commercial director in a local company, hoped that "the relationship will progress toward marriage".
The suit reads that "the defendant's behaviour changed after the birth of their son", adding that many a-times Ahbabovic had felt that he was merely present to fulfil his partner's sexual desires.
He however decided to remain in the relationship in hopes that his partner would change, and that the bond would lead to marriage so his son could have a normal family.
Among his allegations included how the woman had remarked that Ahbabovic was "used as a tool to satisfy the defendant's sexual lust" and to get his sperm so the woman could have better offspring compared to the local sperm.
Ahbabovic also claimed he was even stabbed in the arm by his partner in September 2012 during their alleged tumultous relationship.
Speaking to reporters in court today, he said lodged a police report over the attack but "begged" the police not to arrest her as, "I didn't want the police to arrest the mother of my son".
He said he was eventually evicted from their apartment and has not met his son nor had contact with his partner since.
"We always hope for the best (in a relationship) but find out something else," Ahbabovic said.
When asked what drove him to file this suit, he said that he was pushed to the brink as he was depressed from all the trauma the relationship had caused him and he could not move on with his normal life.
The suit also added that he had lost out on some form of payment when he was completely shut out from a jointly operated cafeteria in a condominium in Jalan Klang Lama.
He had also allegedly paid his former girlfriend RM5,000 per month for living allowances.
The defendant had also allegedly secured a few service-contracts for several international schools which Ahbabovic helped to secure but he never received adequate payment.
He is seeking RM600,000 in damages and other costs.
Ahbabovic is also asking to be recognised as the father in the birth certificate of their son. He also wants to be established as the father of their boy by ways of the woman advertising in three mainstream newspapers, and other costs and relief.
The case is set for case management on Oct 1.
