4 detained over suspected sodomy of 3-year old boy
GEORGE TOWN: Four people were detained in connection to a sodomy case involving a three-year-old boy at an apartment in Air Itam here.
The incident came to light when the victim told his family of the pain in his private parts.
He was then accompanied by his grandmother to seek medical treatment at the Penang Hospital where doctors found bruises and tear in his private parts.
The family later lodged a police report.
It is learnt that the four detained include the boyfriend to the victim's mother.
Northeast district deputy police chief Superintendent Ismail Idris confirmed that a report had been lodged but refused to elaborate.
