GOMBAK: At least 13 people including six women, were injured in a multiple vehicle crash involving a trailer, two buses and a Honda City at KM31.5 Genting Sempah-KL highway heading towards the city today.
City Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Azizan Ismail said the victims suffered varying types of injuries - some severely, with multiple broken limbs and bones.
He said the department received a distress call on the accident at 3.48pm before the fire engines and firemen from Bentong, Selayang and the city were despatched to the site after the tunnel
He said the 13 victims - a couple in the Honda City, seven passengers from a KKKL express bus and four passengers aboard the Temerloh - KL bus were rushed to the Selayang and Kuala Lumpur Hospital by ambulances and cars belonging to public.
