LOS ANGELES: At least one person died while three others were hospitalized after two jets collided on the runway of Scottsdale Airport in the southwestern US state of Arizona, Xinhua reported citing local authorities and media on Monday.
According to a statement from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a Learjet 35A crashed off the runway after landing and collided with a "Gulfstream 200" business jet in the Scottsdale airport area.
The agency responsible for regulating civil aviation in the country said that the exact number of passengers on both planes is still unknown.
