Harith Iskander's wife files for divorce after 14 years together

KUALA LUMPUR: The wife of famous comedian, Harith Iskander, Dr Jezamine Lim, confirmed that she had filed for divorce against her husband at the Federal Territories Syariah Lower Court, here, last June.
"That's right, I filed for divorce. I don't remember the exact date the application was made but it was about a month ago," said Dr Jezamine.
He however refused to give any comment on the cause of his action.
" No comment for now. After our court hearing baru comment ( No comment for now. Maybe after the trial I will tell) ," he said briefly to Astro AWANI on Tuesday.
It is understood that Dr Jezamine and Harith Iskander's divorce case will be mentioned in court this month.
Dr Jezamine was previously also reported to have uploaded a photo with lawyer Datuk Akberdien Abdul Kadir who often represents artists in divorce cases.
Meanwhile, media efforts to get confirmation on the matter from Harith Iskander, 58, were unsuccessful as he chose to remain silent.
Harith Iskander and Dr Jezamine got married on 12 June 2010 and were blessed with three children namely Zander Xayne, 14, Alessandra Jayne, 11, and Zydane Zayne who is now nine years old.
