I had a phone conversation with Hamas Head of Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh yesterday to express Malaysia's unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
Given the dire situation in Gaza, I strongly advocate for the immediate cessation of bombardment and the establishment of a humanitarian corridor in Rafah.
It is also imperative for Israel to abandon their adherence to the politics of dispossession, immediately ceasefire with Hamas and genuinely pursue a peaceful resolution to end the ongoing conflict.
It is crucial and paramount to prioritize the well-being and safety of all individuals affected by this crisis.
In this spirit, we are committed to delivering humanitarian aid, particularly in the form of food and medicine to alleviate the suffering of those in need.

In the meantime, Anwar said, Malaysia also expressed its commitment to deliver humanitarian aid, especially food and medicine to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Israel's Zionist bombing attacks over the past 10 days have killed a total of 2,670 Palestinians, including 750 children.

Citing international media reports, the number of injured victims increased to 9,600 people.

The situation in Gaza is getting worse with the supply of water, food, electricity and medicine not being enough to support the 2.3 million Palestinians.
