Wild party organiser and 55 visitors compounded

Kuala Lumpur: 55 individuals who joined a wild party at a premises in Jalan Aminuddin Baki, Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) here, yesterday were compounded for violating standard operating procedures (SOP) Phase 4 of the National Rehabilitation Plan (PPN).
Brickfields District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the police issued a compound of RM1,000 each.
According to him, they also detained two individuals believed to be the organizers and caretakers of the premises as well as 33 foreign visitors aged between 18 to 56 years old in a raid at 10.50pm.
"Investigations found that the entertainment premises involved organized a private party and hid behind a two -storey shop house.
"Following that, we issued a compound of RM56,000 and detained two workers and 33 foreigners from 21 countries after conducting inspections on three male workers and 85 visitors, including 38 women," he said in a statement today.
Amihizam said the initial urine screening test found all the detainees were negative for drugs before they were taken to the Brickfields District Police Headquarters (IPD) for further action.
"The case is being investigated in accordance with Section 4 of the Entertainment Act, Section 22 (b) of the Prevention of Infectious Diseases Act 1988, Section 6 (1) (c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 and Regulation 17 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (PPDPPB) 2021," he said. .
Meanwhile, Amihizam advised the public not to engage in activities contrary to the ruling of the National Security Council (MKN) to ensure that the Covid-19 chain is fully severed.
