Ku Nan arrives at court

KUALA LUMPUR: Former federal territories minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor has arrived at the court complex here where he is expected to face several charges over the sale of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) land.
Tengku Adnan, who is also Putrajaya MP, arrived at 1.50pm escorted by officers from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Developer Tan Eng Boon is also expected to face charges for abetting Tengku Adnan.
The Umno treasurer, who had been questioned 12 times by investigators over the land deals, was arrested yesterday when he went to the MACC headquarters to have his statement recorded.
He is the third Cabinet member from the previous administration to be hauled to court since Pakatan Harapan was voted into power on May 9.
Former prime minister Najib Razak and his former deputy Ahmad Zahid Hamidi have been charged with corruption, criminal breach of trust and money laundering.
Last week, former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman was accused of 35 counts of bribery amounting to RM263 million.
