Zahid to have third 'date' with MACC on Wednesday (Oct 10)

PUTRAJAYA: Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic) has been summoned by anti-graft authorities on Wednesday (Oct 10).
He is to present himself at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters here at 10am.
Although MACC officials have yet to confirm, Umno officials acknowledged that a notice has been handed over to Dr Ahmad Zahid.
This will be the third time that the Umno president has been called to give his statement.
A message purportedly issued by Pemantau Malaysia Baru president and Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam has been circulating, to inform party members on the matter, asking them to be present at the MACC headquarters in a show of support for the president.
In the message, Lokman said that he would be wearing an orange-coloured t-shirt that is similar to the MACC lock-up garb.
