The stage is set for a world-class welterweight boxing showdown, as eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao and reigning WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Champion Lucas Matthysse have both made weight for their upcoming title fight in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Pacquiao, the challenger from the Philippines, who's gunning for his impressive eleventh reign as world champion, came in at 146-lbs. during Saturday morning's official weigh-ins at the MITEC in Kuala Lumpur.
The champion from Argentina, Matthysse, who'll be defending his title for the first time, tipped the scales at 146.7-lbs.
Also making weight was Filipino Jhack Tepora, who weighed in at 126.5-lbs. for his interim WBA Featherweight World Championship bout against Mexico's Edivaldo Ortega, who came in at 125.4-lbs.
In other world title action, South African Moruti Mthalane came in at 111.5-lbs. while South Korea's Muhammad Waseem weighed in at 111.3-lbs. for their vacant IBF Flyweight World Championship bout.
Venezuelan reigning WBA Light Flyweight World Champion Carlos Canizales weighed in at 106.4-lbs for his title defense against China's Lu Bin, who came in at 106.7 lbs.
