Japanese woman jumps to her death from 20th floor of Kota Damansara condo

PETALING JAYA: A Japanese woman jumped to her death from the 20th floor of a condominium in Kota Damansara here.
It is learnt that the body of the 62-year-old woman was discovered near the apartment's swimming pool area at about 7.27pm on Thursday (July 12).
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said the woman had been staying alone at the condominium for about four months.
"She came to Malaysia about two and a half years ago with her husband and were working at a Japanese company based here.
"She retired after working here for two years while her husband was transferred to the company's headquarters in Japan," he said.
She previously stayed at an apartment near Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
"The case is classified as sudden death.
"The body has been sent Sungai Buloh Hospital for post-mortem," he said.
