Azmin's mother passes away

KLANG: Che Tom Yahaya, the mother of Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, passed away in the early hours of Saturday.
The 83-year-old died at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital at 2.14am.
Her remains will be brought to Masjid Darul Ehsan, Taman TAR, Ampang for prayers at about 9am before proceeding to the family home in Kampung Klang Gate, Hulu Klang.
Che Tom had suffered two strokes and subsequent complications such as a lung infection.
She was hospitalised in October last year and underwent surgery to remove a blood clot from her brain.
Che Tom suffered a second stroke on Feb 11 and fell into a coma.
Besides Azmin, who is her fourth child, Che Tom had five other children - Norlia, Intan Dawini, Azman, Azwan dan Ummi Hafilda.
