PETALING JAYA: Nothing is greater than the love of a mother and on this Mother’s Day, the Johor Sultan has expressed his gratitude for his mother and his wife in a heartfelt post.
Writing on Facebook on Sunday, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar spoke about how he has been blessed by his mother, Enche Besar Hajah Khalsom Abdullah, and his wife, Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Idris Shah, adding that they have been his pillars.
“Today, I am thinking of the two most important and special women in my life, my mother and my wife.
“Allah SWT has blessed me with a brave mother, and a wonderful wife and they have always been there for my six beautiful children and I, through thick and thin,” he said.
Sultan Ibrahim added that both women were exemplary individuals and that they were dear to him.
“I am grateful for their unconditional love for our family,” he said.
The Sultan then called on everyone to respect and love their mothers.
“I hope you will all cherish your mothers. Please always respect them and look after them well.
“I wish all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day and may Allah SWT shower his blessings upon all of you always,” he said.
