Video of attack at car wash goes viral

PETALING JAYA: Footage of a man slapping a foreign worker in the face for allegedly dirtying his car has gone viral.
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed a man scolding and striking at the foreign worker who was seen holding a washcloth in the front seat of a luxury SUV.
According to car wash owner Atie Abdul Hamid, who uploaded the video, the man got angry with the worker, accusing the worker of dirtying his car.
"The man did not want to pay for the car wash, and instead asked for RM1000 for the man sitting and dirtying his car when he was trying to clean the windscreen," said Atie.
Atie added that the worker got slapped a second time at another location that caused the worker to "bleed non-stop".
She said that the CCTV at the second location was not working, but she snapped a picture of the ground with the blood.
After visiting a clinic, the clinic doctor referred the worker to the hospital where doctors confirmed that the worker has a broken nose.
"An X-ray confirmed that it is a broke nose. The follow-up is on Monday," said Atie.
When contacted, Atie said that the worker is still at the hospital and that she is currently busy attending to him.
The two and a half minute video has since received almost 16,000 'likes' and close to 31,000 shares.
Several netizens commented on the video and criticized the man for being arrogant and a bully.
Many also urged Atie to lodge a police report against the man.
However, it is unknown if a police report has since been lodged.
