Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur announced the
appointment of Andreas Senn as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of food
and beverage.
In his new capacity, Mr Senn will work very
closely with new Executive Chef Mario Hofmann to explore new local and
international food trends and opportunities to further enhance the diner’s
experience. All of the food and beverage outlets in the hotel will come under
Mr Senn’s management.
Mr Senn has enjoyed a career spanning luxury
hotels in the UK, the Maldives, Thailand, Vietnam and New Zealand. He also
brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous position as Executive Assistant
Manager of food and beverage at Conrad Dubai in the UAE.
Originally from Austria, Mr Senn studied at FVF
St Johann Tyrol Hotel Management School before starting work as maitre
d’/restaurant manager at various hotels
there.
