KL-Singapore Tigerair flight delayed after prosthetic finger found on board

SINGAPORE: A Tigerair flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore was delayed on Thursday after a prosthetic finger was found on board the plane.
It was reported that the flight was delayed for two hours at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 after a flight attendant cleaning up the plane came across what looked like a severed finger.
Police called in to investigate then determined that the finger was merely a prosthesis, believed to have been left behind by a passenger from an earlier flight.
A Tigerair spokesman confirmed the incident when contacted by Singapore's The Straits Times.
"The flight was delayed as airport authorities carried out checks when a prosthetic finger was discovered on board during a routine transit cabin inspection," said the spokesman.
The flight arrived safely in Singapore at 8.28pm on Thursday, the spokesman added. - The Straits Times/ANN
