SEPANG: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is scheduled to hold a press conference at 1.30pm at Sama-Sama Hotel, KLIA, after meeting family members of passengers aboard MAS flight MH370.
Media personnel at the hotel have been asked to vacate the auditorium for the press conferences while security personnel inspect the room.
Over at The Everly Putrajaya hotel, some family members have already gathered around the two televisions in the lobby.
After they became aware of the press conference, they appeared anxious, but most are still keeping their emotions in check.
One family member was seen crying as she was talking to another woman about her child on the missing flight, and was led away after a while.
In Beijing, families have gathered in a ballroom of the Lido hotel waiting for a live telecast of the press conference. They only allowed selected media to be in the room, including foreign press agencies and some Chinese media.
Journalists are crowding at the entrance hoping for a chance to get in, but a woman representing the families said selected media would be given permission to enter.
