KUALA LUMPUR: A man was believed have fallen to his death from the 16th floor of the Taragon Puteri Bintang Hotel here.
The 53-year-old businessman, identified as Lee Chee Ming, was clad in a dark grey T-shirt and light gray shorts when he was discovered on the ground floor of the hotel, which was located along Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah.
KL CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad said the police were alerted of the incident at about 7.15am on Thursday.
“He was pronounced dead by a medical team that rushed to the scene.
“We found three cigarette butts and 14 fingerprints in his room. At the moment, we are still investigating how and why he was there,” he said, adding that the victim was from Desa Melayu, Bandar Baru Nilai.
The body has been sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem and the case is classified as sudden death
