KUALA LUMPUR - The police are identifying the owner of the social media known as Muhammad Imran Suresh following his statement about the acid spill incident involving the Selangor FC squad pillar, Faisal Halim.
Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said, the individual claimed to have information related to the incident that happened to Faisal.
"So, we want to trace him to see what information he has that can help the investigation.
"Any individual who has any relevant information can come forward to the police, instead of issuing a statement that could affect the investigation," he said on Wednesday.
Razarudin added that investigations are still being carried out from various angles against the suspects who were arrested and remanded by the police.
Therefore, the public is reminded not to make any incorrect speculations that may affect the investigation
Since Tuesday, an owner of the Instagram social site claimed that he had been called by the police to help investigate the case involving Faisal.
The owner of the social media account claimed to have information and was asked to keep his mouth shut revealing the real incident that happened to the player.
