KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong insisted that His Majesty will not entertain any request from any party that tries to undermine the country's political stability.
Sultan Ibrahim said, all parties must accept the statement and respect the Unity Government that has been formed.
"If anyone wants to play politics, wait for the next election," His Majesty said while officiating the Opening Ceremony of the First Meeting of the Third Term of the 15th Parliament.
Sultan Ibrahim also reminded that Parliament is a place where legislators gather to make rules and its members are the legislators of the law.
"Therefore it is absurd if the drafter himself fails to comply with the rules made.
"Therefore, I hope all members of the council will set a good example when they are in this honorable council.
"Take care of manners and discipline and use polite speech and do not insult other people, if I look at the behavior of the members of the council before, I feel ashamed to enter this parliament," said His Majesty again.
His Majesty also ordered that both the Dewan Rakyat and the Dewan Negara must carry out their duties strictly to ensure that all members comply with the rules throughout the session.
"I gave the green light to the Speaker to take action against Members of Parliament who go beyond the limit, they can be suspended for 14 days if any are still stubborn.
"Therefore, I hope that all members of the council will set a good example when they are in this honorable parliament
