By-election: Three-cornered fight in the Pulai Parliament

JOHOR BAHRU: The Pulai Parliament will witness a three-cornered clash in the by-election (PRK) which will take place on September 9.
Pakatan Harapan (PH) nominated former speaker of the State Legislative Assembly (DUN), Suhaizan Kayat, while Perikatan Nasional (PN) Zulkifli Jaafar.
In addition, the Independent candidate is the President of the Kuala Lumpur Consumer Safety Association (PKPKL), Samsudin Mohamad Fauzi.
The names of the candidates were announced by the Election Commission's Managing Officer for the P161 Pulai Parliament by-election, Miswan Yunus.
Earlier, Miswan announced that the EC had received nomination papers from three candidates with no nominations being rejected at the Sultan Ibrahim Diamond Jubilee Hall, Johor Bahru
