MariGin wants you: Join the Alliance Party
KUALA LUMPUR (22 October 2019) – Get ready to choose a side at MariGin this coming November – but since it’s all gin, everybody wins!
The MariGin Gin Bar Alliance Party is set to be a showcase of gin from England, Germany, Italy, Japan, Scotland and Thailand. Take a mini trip around the world at one gin joint as MariGin celebrates the versatile and refreshing spirit the bar is dedicated to serving.
Tonics for the evening will be courtesy of official tonic partner Franklin & Sons, who are known for their premium tonics and mixers made with sparkling Staffordshire water and natural sugar.
The other partners involved this gin alliance are Pernod Ricard Malaysia, Rémy Cointreau Malaysia, Eujeen Bevermix Sdn Bhd and Find Wine Trading Sdn Bhd.
Guests who attend the event will be able to enjoy specially crafted drinks which will feature the following gin brands in the following tasting order:
· Sakurao – A craft gin which utilises 9 kinds of botanicals including fresh citrus from Hiroshima.
· Copperhead – This Belgian-made gin is a London Dry made in authentic copper stills and based on five botanicals – juniper, cardamom, orange peel, angelica and coriander.
· The Botanist Islay Dry Gin – A Scottish gin with layered complexity that contains, among others, 22 hand-foraged island botanicals native to Islay.
· Beefeater 24 – a London Dry with a sophisticated blend of fine botanicals and exotic teas that give it a fragrant bouquet, and smooth and pleasant flavour.
· Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin – this German gin boasts a mixture of 47 botanicals which gives the spirit an intense aromatic complexity.
· Roby Marton – an Italian spirit that is unfiltered and has spicy and complex notes of ginger, jenever and licorice.
The MariGin Gin Bar Alliance Party will be held on 19 November at 6.00pm.
MariGin Gin Bar is located at One KL, Jalan Pinang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. It is open from 5.00pm to 1.00am from Monday to Saturday, where happy hours run from 5.00pm to 9.00pm.
