Lawyer Noor Amirul Nazreen, 33, who was jointly charged with the duo, also claimed trial.

The case was prosecuted by deputy public prosecutor Roslan Mat Nor.

Azmil also claimed trial to a separate charge of accepting RM5,000 to only fine six people convicted of purchasing a lottery ticket.
