Ever since Yuna stepped out of Malaysia to broaden her musical horizons, she has continued to make waves in the international scene and place our country on the map.
From being spotted on a billboard in New York's Times Square, featured on the Apple Watch Series 5's Apple Music display, signed with a top modelling agency in the United States, to rubbing shoulders with the likes of Cardi B and more, it looks like she is not going to stop anytime soon.
Yuna has just received yet another nomination at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) for 'Best Southeast Asian Act'.
She was previously nominated for the same award back in 2014 and 2016, as well as 'Best Asian Act' in 2012.
The singer-songwriter has yet to win an award from MTV EMAs, so we hope that this year will be her golden year because her latest 'Rouge' album deserves no less.
Her fellow nominees for the award includes Suboi (Vietnam), Rich Brian (Indonesia), Jannine Weigel (Thailand), Jasmine Sokko (Singapore), and Moira Dela Torre (Philippines).
What is special about this year's award is that you, the fans, have the power to decide the winners!
Since the 'Best Southeast Asian Act' award is considered one of the main categories, you can vote for your favourite act for most of the awards.
Needless to say, vote for Yuna! You can do so following this link.
