On 7 September, an old video surfaced on Twitter by @My_CrimeWatch showing a white vehicle drifting across three lanes and crashing into a lorry.

The accident took place on the North-South Expressway near Kuala Muda, Kedah on 2 April, 2018, as SAYS previously reported.
The lorry was transporting thousands of eggs when the 27-year-old driver crashed into it
Fortunately, the lorry driver only suffered minor injuries while the other driver was unhurt, AsiaOne reported.

When the video previously came out, people had urged other drivers to honk if they suspect a driver could be sleepy to avoid accidents.
This time around, people are slamming the driver, saying that the accident could have been prevented if he had honked to alert the other vehicle

Microsleep occurs without warning and is one of the frequent causes for road accidents, Melaka Putra Specialist Hospital Nephrology and Internal Medical Consultative Expert Datuk Dr S. Ravih said, according to Malay Mail.
"This is because, when the body is fatigued, the brain will 'sleep' for a few seconds, even though your eyes are open and your hands are holding the steering," he explained.
