SHAH ALAM: The remains of the younger sister of the Sultan of Selangor, Tengku Puteri Sofiah Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, 68, were buried at the Shah Alam Royal Mausoleum in Seksyen 5 here.
The remains were prepared and accorded funeral prayers led by Deputy Mufti of Selangor Dr Anhar Opir at Masjid Istana Diraja, Klang.
Tengku Puteri Sofiah’s remains were then taken by hearse to the royal mausoleum and carried by pallbearers to their final resting place at 11am yesterday.
