ACTRESS Elfira Loy has been dating a singer, saying that her family approves of the relationship.

She said her openness was to avoid any misperceptions among her fans.

“My mother has given her blessing,” she was quoted as saying in Sinar Harian about her romance with Suffian Suhaimi, 25.

She described him as an honest man who had approached her family properly. Suffian said he plans to complete his masters degree before thinking about marriage.
