Businessman charged with sexually assaulting designer at parking lot near KLCC

KUALA LUMPUR: A businessman was charged in the Sessions Court with committing sexual connection by using an object without a woman's consent at an open car park last month.

Yap Jin Keang, 37, who was unrepresented, pleaded not guilty to the offence before judge Datin M. Kunasundary today.

He was alleged to have sexually assaulted a 26-year-old graphic designer using his finger inside a car at an open parking lot near Menara Felda, Jalan Persiaran, KLCC here at about 3.15pm on May 4.

Deputy public prosecutor Liyana Zawani Mohd Radzi did not offer bail to the accused saying that he has several other on-going court cases.

Yap was not allowed bail and his case will be up for mention on July 12.
