AT least 25 people have been injured – with fears Brits are among those hurt – after masked gunmen started shooting inside a resort in the capital of the Philippines.
Explosions were also heard at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City – as terrified witnesses said they saw guests jumping from the second floor of the hotel, Manila Times reported.

Footage posted on social media shows scores of people frantically running from the hotel and casino complex as gunshots were heard.
Philippine Red Cross (PRC) said at least 25 people were injured and were taken to hospital.
ISIS has since claimed "lone wolf soldiers" from the terror group carried out the attack - which happened at around midnight local time.
Horrified witnesses told how they saw masked men storm into the second floor of one of the resorts' four hotels and opened fire at guests and employees as they fled for their lives.
Chilling photos from the scene shows some lying down injured and others being carried out to safety.
Kara Verano, who took footage of people fleeing the hotel lobby, wrote on Facebook: "We were just eating at Bulgogi when we heard gunshots other customers said that there were men coming out of the casino wearing masks and armed.
"We got stuck in the restaurant's storage room for almost two hours with continuous gunshots coming from outside and smell something is burning.
"I wasn't sure if it was a teargas or something is actually burning.. it was as if impossible to breakout."
An army spokesperson said police is in control of the situation.
A spokesperson for the hotel and casino said on Twitter: "Resorts World Manila is currently on lockdown following reports of gunfire from unidentified men."
"The company is working closely with the Philippine National Police to ensure that all guests and employees are safe.
"We ask for your prayers during these difficult times."
The Foreign Office has warned Brits to stay away from Manila following the attack.
Resorts World Manila is situated opposite the Ninoy Aquino International Airport - one of the busiest airport terminal in the country.
Philippine authorities have been fighting ISIS in parts of the country.
Islamic State flags have been spotted around the city of Marawi and images have been circulated ISIS thugs posing with weapons and vehicles hit by rocket-propelled grenades.
