Most of the vehicles ended up with minor damage, save for two, a Proton Saga which landed on top of a brand new Honda Civic.
Kuala Muda police chief Assistant Commissioner Md Zukir Md Isa said the 11pm incident occurred when one of the cars suddenly slammed on the brakes, causing the cars tailing behind to bump into each other.
This also led to one of the cars, the Proton Saga, landing on the Civic.
Md Zukir said that as of this morning, only three of the drivers have lodged police reports over the incident.
