GEORGE TOWN: A car crashed into a famous nasi kandar restaurant at Lebuh Chulia here tonight as the crowd ran for cover.
Heavily-tinted Alza crashes into Lebuh Chulia nasi kandar restaurant
In the 11pm incident, a heavily tinted black Perodua Alza flew over the sidewalk and landed inside the Kassim Mustangs Restaurant.
A witness at the scene said that the restaurant patrons ran for cover as the car crash-landed.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Even the Alza driver escaped unhurt. There were no other passengers in the car.
Police were seen at the scene soon after.
Just last month, a Hyundai i10 crashed into some hawker stalls at Lorong Baru here, injuring at least five people.
