SUNGAI PETANI: Two policemen were injured when their patrol car collided with an express bus at KM171.2 of the North-South Expressway, near Serdang here.
The Serdang Fire and Rescue Station received a distress call of the incident at about 5.50pm Friday and dispatched a team to the scene, some 29km away.
The two policemen were found pinned in their vehicle. The driver and passengers of the bus were unhurt.
State Fire and Rescue Department operations centre head Supt Mohd Naim Mat Jaaffar said one of the policemen was seriously injured at the waist and the other sustained minor injuries to his hand.
Both victims were rushed to Hospital Parit Buntar for treatment.
