Fauzi Ayob Is New Director-General Of Finas

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Fauzi Ayob has been appointed as director-general of National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas), effective January 1.
The appointment was on a one-year contract.
Fauzi, who who was deputy director-general (Management) of Finas, replaced Datuk Kamil Othman, whose contract as director-general ended in November.
Also appointed was Azmir Saifuddin Mutalib as deputy director-general effective from Jan 1. He was senior director of Commercial Division.
Both of them were appointed by Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak, said Finas in a statement Thursday.
The appointments were announced by Finas chairman Datuk Mohd Khusairi Abdul Talib at the presentation of cheques for feature film incentives at P. Ramlee Mini Cinema, Finas, Hulu Kelang.
