Azam Baki appointed MACC deputy chief commissioner for operations
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigations director Datuk Azam Baki (pix) was appointed the new deputy chief commissioner (operations) effective Tuesday.
In a statement, the MACC said Azam, 53, replaced Datuk Seri Shukri Abdull who officially retired on Monday night.
MACC Community Education Division director Datuk Shamshun Baharin Mohd Jamil, 55, was appointed deputy chief commissioner (prevention) from Tuesday.
He replaces Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali who is the Immigration Department director-general.
Both Azam and Shamshun were helming the positions as acting deputy chief commissioners. - Bernama
