Tawau-born Rusdi takes helm of KL CID post

KUALA LUMPUR: Senior Assistant Commissioner Rusdi Mohd Isa has assumed his duty as the new chief of KL police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today.
The 48-year old took over from outgoing Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad, who is now Federal police CID deputy director (intelligence and operations), with the rank of Deputy Commissioner.
Zainuddin had been the City CID chief since January 2015.
Prior to this, Tawau-born Rusdi was the Selangor deputy CID chief for investigations and legislation.
Earlier, city police chief Datuk Amar Singh witnessed the duty handover ceremony between Rusdi and Zainuddin, at the city police contingent headquarters.
