Man tries to steal from victim

A MOTORIST allegedly tried to steal valuable items from a snatch theft victim instead of helping her at Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Kuala Lumpur, Sin Chew Daily reported.


The victim, who was walking alone, fell down after two men on a motorbike tried to snatch her handbag at about 11.35am on Friday.


The two men managed to grab the handbag and fled, it reported.




A passing motorist stopped his motorbike and instead of helping her, he allegedly attempted to steal her other valuables.


A passer-by, who saw the incident, shouted for help and the motorist left the scene.


The incident was captured by a CCTV and the visual was uploaded on social media by Community Policing Malaysia founder Kuan Chee Heng.


It was learnt that the victim had lodged a police report.
