Trailer destroys toll booth at Subang Plaza

PETALING JAYA: A trailer crashed into a toll booth at the Subang Plaza along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) here.
The impact of the crash completely destroyed one of the toll booths, spilling the trailer's load of steel bars, damaging an ambulance and a car.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said the accident occurred at around 1.30pm.
"Initial investigations revealed the driver of the trailer lost control of his vehicle and ploughed through the toll booth in between lane five and six of the toll plaza," he said when contacted on Tuesday.
ACP Mohd Zani said the lorry driver was sent to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre for treatment for injuries to his leg.
"No one was seriously injured in the accident," he said.
